The purpose of this research is study of relationship between leadership style and organizational intelligence and identifying competent leadership style. For this purpose, three dimensional model offered by Bass and Avolio is used to determine the leadership style. Transformational leadership, transac-tional and Laissez faire leadership are the elements suggested in this model. Also, Albrecht model is used for measurement of organizational intelligence. In a descriptive-survey research in public offices of Qom, six offices have been selected with cluster sampling and then random sampling of them was accomplished. At the end, 172 of 296 employees answered to questions. Col-lected data was analyzed and results indicate that there is positive correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational intelligence and also negative correlation is seen between Laissez faire leadership and organizational intelligence. Therefore, transformational leadership style is the competent one.
