Today, the consumers have tendency for using credit cards for their purchase process due to comfort and security of such cards. In a competitive environment, achieving to social position via material assets leads to incorrect use of credit cards and prodigality. Using credit cards requires cautious control on material restrictions and fiscal planning.In this paper, we provided a conceptual model on indexes influencing purchase behavior and credit card use. This is descriptive applied survey. Research data were gathered by customers of chain store in Shiraz. Cochran sample size was used. Approximate size was 384 people at 95% confidence level and 5% error level. Field study was used for data gathering and neede data was collected by questionnaire. Ultimately it was shown that materialism influences scrupulous purchase, sudden purchase, and incorrect use of credit Card.
