We can call “EFQM excellence model” as a transition from the great number of different models and approaches to unity in context of organizational improvement and excellence.Doing self assessment to find areas for improvement (AFIs) is the most important applications of this model. Organizations specially those ones which are on lower levels of total quality management will encounter lots of AFIs. So finding key problems is a big challenge for them. Reviewing the literature and past researches shows that there aren’t any specific and systematic models to solve the challenge.So we intend to introduce a mathematical screening model to solve this problem. This is basic and fundamental research from purpose point of view, and it is descriptive from data gathering point of view. In the meantime, the industrial organizations of Iran are the territory of this research. The proposed model is designed in fuzzy context, because decision making situation of the most organizations is vague and ambiguous.
