Introduction and Purpose: In the late 20th century, the Internet emerged and gradually became an integral part of human societies, enabling people around the world to accelerate various aspects of their daily lives. The Internet has been widely used for establishing connections, performing daily tasks, developing businesses, and managing administrative affairs. The expansion of cyberspace also led to the emergence of social networking platforms, which have become increasingly popular, with billions of people using them every day. Initially, these platforms were designed to facilitate human interaction, and users mainly utilized them for entertainment and communication. Over time, however, individuals recognized opportunities to create added value through these networks and began using them as infrastructures for economic activities and business development. As social networks evolved, some users gained large numbers of followers through content creation. This attracted the attention of businesses, which began collaborating with these individuals to achieve their marketing objectives. Influencer marketing is an approach in which influential individuals promote products and services to their audiences. Influencers are regarded by brand marketers as credible sources of information, and influencers on social media platforms such as Instagram have become one of the key elements of digital marketing campaigns. Social networking platforms enable followers to express their opinions about promotional content, allowing consumers of advertised products to share positive and negative feedback quickly, directly, and at virtually no cost. This interaction enables followers to communicate their opinions regarding products and their performance to influencers as well as product manufacturers. Consequently, consumers perceive themselves as partners in the creation and development of product value and, through their active participation in providing feedback, engage in customer value co-creation. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the cosmetics, health, and beauty market. Given the growing integration of social media and influencers into people's daily lives, this study seeks to examine the less-explored aspects of influencers' roles in social networks and their relationship with the development of customer value co-creation behavior, as well as to identify the components associated with this phenomenon.
Methodology: This study is fundamental-applied in terms of its purpose and qualitative in terms of the nature of the data. The required data were collected through open-ended and in-depth interviews. The research is exploratory and based on data analysis using the grounded theory approach. Following the interviews, the collected data were analyzed and categorized through a three-stage coding process. The statistical population consisted of marketing and business experts, as well as specialists and practitioners in virtual businesses and influencer marketing. To identify the participants, three criteria were considered: at least two years of continuous professional experience, possession of a university degree, and familiarity with virtual communication. A list of eligible individuals was prepared, and purposive snowball sampling was employed to select the final participants. Initially, ten informants were interviewed. As theoretical saturation had not yet been achieved, three additional experts were included in the second stage. Theoretical saturation was reached after conducting interviews with thirteen experts. Data analysis was performed through open, axial, and selective coding. In the first stage, the interview transcripts were coded into open codes based on frequency, intensity, and emphasis. In the second stage, conceptually similar open codes were grouped into axial codes across different categories, and in the final stage, the relationships among these categories were identified. To establish the validity of the interview protocol, face validity was employed. The interview protocol and questions were reviewed and approved by ten experts. The reliability of the coding process was confirmed through recoding and inter-coder agreement.
Findings: Following the analysis of the field data and completion of the coding process, 121 initial codes were classified into 18 core codes and 8 main categories: characteristics of influencers, influencers' roles, prerequisites for customer value co-creation, core components of value co-creation, implementation of value co-creation in influencer marketing, methods and tools for value co-creation in influencer marketing, benefits of value co-creation in influencer marketing, and outcomes of value co-creation in influencer marketing.
Discussion and Conclusion: The findings identified the key components involved in developing customer value co-creation behavior in influencer marketing. Based on these findings, practical suggestions are provided to facilitate and strengthen the development of customer value co-creation behavior within influencer marketing.

Introduction and Purpose: Persona, a concept originating in academic psychology, was introduced by psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung and refers to the face or social mask an individual presents to the outside world. With advances in data and personalization technologies, Alan Cooper pioneered the modern use of personas in user experience (UX) design in the 1990s (Prutt & Grudin, 2003). The persona concept has been used in various fields, including software development, health, higher education, marketing, robotics, responsive systems, video games, and system security (Salminen et al., 2022). The persona concept in the field of marketing has been used more in the field of digital marketing and digital marketing strategy, as Wanga (2024) says, the emergence of persona marketing is closely related to the growth of popular social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Douyin, and has also been widely used in studying users of music distribution platforms such as Spotify. Accordingly, the present study examined the personas of Spotify music platform users. Next, three overlapping waves in the field of persona studies were introduced, including (1) qualitative and research-based personas; (2) quantitative approaches and algorithmic clustering; and (3) hybrid or predictive approaches based on machine learning..

Methodology: This study adopted a quantitative, clustering-based approach in an observational-analytical, data-driven manner. It used the HDBSCAN density-based clustering algorithm to discover behavioral patterns and extract customer personas among 8,000 active Spotify users. The data included 10 behavioral and demographic indicators: gender, age, country, subscription type, daily listening time, number of songs played per day, song skip rate, device type, number of ads heard per week, and offline listening. This work was carried out in three stages: data description, data preprocessing, and HDBSCAN clustering.

Finding: By aggregating identified clusters and analyzing user behavior within each, six audience personas were identified on online music streaming platforms. Premium consumers: listeners with high attention span, high daily listening time, high number of songs played, and stricter selection standards that can lead to a moderate to slightly high dropout rate, but this group of customers is accompanied by frequent returns to selected playlists. Background-free customers: music is the “background” of other activities for this group. Low to moderate daily listening time and number of songs played, low dropout rate (due to semi-active listening), high ad exposure (free subscription type), and low offline listening. Their listening behavior is related to the context of their daily life (work, study, household chores). Mobile Trend Hunters: The main characteristics of this customer group are young, mobile, and sensitive to trends; a high number of songs played, a high skip rate (fast discovery), and average daily listening time. Quality and Offline Traditionalists: The main characteristics of this customer group are older age, high loyalty to established playlists and familiar genres, low skip rate, high daily listening time, high offline listening, and low exposure to advertising due to the tendency towards premium. Fast-paced, ad-enabled youth: This customer group is free-based with a “slice-by-slice” model. This means they have a high number of songs played daily but relatively low daily listening time, a high skip rate, high advertising exposure, and low offline listening. Global Multi-Device Professionals: This user group is characterized by moderate but profound consumption with significant switching between mobile and desktop. This user group has relatively high daily listening time, moderate skip rate, moderate to high offline listening, and high geographic diversity.

Discussion and Coclusion: As we mentioned in previous studies by Fuller et al. (2016), seven personas were identified: active curator, addict, guided listener, discerning listener, isolated user, distrustful, and wanderer or free music explorer. Kim (2016) also identified three personas among music professionals, including: 1- the listener who listens to high-resolution music recreationally as a new hobby, 2- the music seeker who listens to high-resolution music as a way to learn about music, and 3- the artist lover who is excited when his favorite artist releases a high-resolution version of music. Comparing the results of this study with previous studies shows relative correspondences, such that the premium consumer, background music for other tasks, mobile predator, fast-paced advertising, and global multi-device careers from the present study have complete or relative conceptual correspondence with the personas of the listener with a specific moment, music addict, wanderer or free music explorer, guided listener, and active curator from the study of Fuller et al. (2016), respectively. No correspondence was found for the persona of the traditionalist with online quality in this study. On the other hand, the distrustful and isolated user persona in the study by Fuller et al. (2016) was not found in the present study. In general, after examining and describing the personas identified in this study, it can be stated that the distinction of personas is mainly based on three underlying vectors: which include depth of attention (combination of daily listening time, number of songs per day, and song skip rate), level of service (covariation of subscription type with number of ads heard per week and offline listening rate), and consumption context (device type and country). Additional studies using quantitative data-based approaches across other platforms for selling goods and services can lead to the development of more effective marketing strategies. The researchers are ready to conduct similar research and collaborate with other researchers interested in this field.

</Abstract>

Introduction and Purpose: As the pace of life has accelerated, constant external stimuli bombard the individual’s mind, and emotions undergo continuous fluctuations; consequently, shopping has transformed from a rational, need-based choice into an excitement-driven, compensatory, and sometimes addictive experience. Scientific analysis shows that excessive shopping is not merely a result of weak willpower, but rather a manifestation of inner conflicts, emotional deficiencies, and environmental pressures expressed through purchasing. At the moment of purchase, the individual seeks to restore inner balance, repair emotional wounds, or build a temporary sense of self-worth. However, this unstable balance quickly gives way to regret, guilt, financial pressure, and the repetition of a dysfunctional cycle. As multiple factors contribute to the formation of this behavior, the present study aimed to identify and analyze the causes and consequences of shopping frenzy behavior.
Methodology: This research is applied in terms of its purpose and exploratory in terms of its data collection method. Utilizing an inductive approach in the qualitative section and a deductive approach in the quantitative section, this study is classified as mixed-methods research with a sequential exploratory design. The statistical population consisted of experts (brand managers and sales/marketing staff), from which 21 individuals were selected using purposive sampling based on the principle of theoretical saturation. The interview process reached theoretical saturation by the nineteenth and twentieth interviews, with the twenty-first interview being completed. The data collection tools included interviews for the qualitative section and a Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping (FCM) questionnaire for the quantitative section. Qualitative data from the 21 experts were analyzed using MAXQDA software and thematic analysis. Subsequently, in the quantitative section, a paired comparison questionnaire was administered to the same sample. The obtained data were analyzed following the Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping method steps. To assess the validity and reliability of the qualitative tools, content validity, theoretical validity, and intra-coder and inter-coder reliability were employed. Additionally, the quantitative tools were assessed through content validity and test-retest reliability. Quantitative data were processed in Gephi software for fuzzy processing and causal model visualization, replacing manual calculations.
Findings: The qualitative findings consist of identifying the effective factors and consequences of shopping frenzy behavior, while the quantitative findings focus on prioritizing these factors. The qualitative results reveal the causes and consequences associated with shopping frenzy behavior. Accordingly, the causes include psychological and emotional pressures, lack of impulse control, influence of social networks, low self-esteem, consumerist family patterns, smart marketing provocations, easy access to online shopping, neural reward and dopamine, personal failures and setbacks, and fear of missing out (FOMO). Furthermore, the consequences include severe indebtedness, feelings of guilt and regret, family conflicts, excessive accumulation of goods, reduced decision-making ability, behavioral addiction, decline in job performance, damage to mental health, inability to save money, and deterioration of social image.
Discussion and Conclusion: Based on these findings, the most significant cause of shopping frenzy behavior is low self-esteem. Additionally, excessive accumulation of goods was identified as a primary consequence of shopping frenzy behavior.

Introduction and Purpose: Videos are usually more effective than text or image content in attracting people's attention due to their visual appeal and high ability to convey information. However, empirical research in this field, especially in the insurance industry, is limited. Despite the significant growth of video marketing globally, empirical evidence on its impact on consumer purchase intention in intangible service industries, especially the insurance industry, remains limited. While the use of social networks and promotional videos is rapidly expanding in Iran, domestic research has mainly focused on consumer industries, and empirical investigation of the role of video marketing on attitude and purchase intention in the insurance industry, which requires high trust and explanation of complex concepts, has not been considered, and local research in the Iranian context is still limited, while extensive international evidence shows that video marketing on social media can increase purchase intention, brand engagement, and consumer trust. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of video marketing on consumers' purchase intention.
Methodology: The paradigm of this research is positivism. The research orientation is applied and has a deductive approach. In this research, due to the quantitative nature, field methods were used to collect data. In this research, a correlation-survey strategy was used to analyze the data. In terms of the purpose of this research, it is explanatory and in terms of nature, it is descriptive. The statistical population includes active users of social networks in Semnan with at least a diploma to have a proper understanding of the research variables. Due to the lack of access to accurate statistics on the total number of users, the statistical population was considered unlimited. The sample size was determined using the Cochran method and assuming a 95% confidence level, a 5% sampling error, and p = q = 0.5 values, equal to 384 people. Sampling was carried out using the convenience method to provide access to eligible individuals and the possibility of their participation. Data collection was carried out through field studies by designing a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling based on partial least squares.
Finding: The findings of this study indicate that video advertising has a direct and significant positive effect on consumer purchase intention and attitude, and consumer attitude plays an important mediating role in strengthening this relationship. However, video duration does not have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between video advertising and consumer attitude. The results of this study can help insurance companies design video marketing strategies and improve customer purchase intention, and provide a foundation for future studies in the field of digital marketing and consumer behavior.
Discussion and Coclusion: According to the results of this study, visually appealing and effectively conveying information video content attracts consumers' attention and increases brand awareness, and can arouse the audience's emotions and strengthen their trust and loyalty. By presenting dynamic and attractive images, effectively conveying information, and creating emotional motivations, advertising videos can help form positive customer perceptions of insurance products, goods, and services and increase customer trust. This type of advertising also promotes brand recognition and awareness of insurance services, and increases interaction with audiences. A consumer's positive or negative attitude toward video advertising can directly affect their purchase decision and has a significant mediating effect on purchase intention. Given that video duration does not play a significant moderating role in the relationship between video advertising and customer attitude, it is suggested that instead of focusing on duration, advertising content with attractive characters should be produced in line with the current concerns of adolescents and young people. For example, virtual celebrities can be used in advertising to use them as focus groups that have large followings. In general, it is suggested that in video advertising in the insurance industry, it is better to showcase real achievements in advertising. This can increase customer trust in services in the insurance industry. Insurance companies should also use graphics and visually appealing cartoons to explain difficult and complex concepts in a simple and understandable way for the customer. Visual aids can increase viewer engagement and retention of programs. Insurance companies can also use storytelling techniques in advertising as well as educational marketing techniques to change customers' attitudes about life and home fire insurance, so that they can explain the importance of having insurance for people in the form of video advertisements. It is recommended that platforms that have a larger audience today, such as Instagram and YouTube, produce and publish content that is appropriate for the age of the audience and new generations.

Introduction and Purpose: The globalization process has compelled pharmaceutical companies to expand and penetrate international markets, creating both challenges and opportunities. In this regard, the pharmaceutical industry is one of the industries that can play a significant role in economic development and value creation. The pharmaceutical industry is one of the strategic sectors of the world economy and constitutes a significant portion of GDP. However, the growth of Iran’s pharmaceutical industry in global markets still lags behind its potential. This research aimed to identify and prioritize the characteristics of incremental and springboard internationalization strategies in the pharmaceutical industry.
Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and was conducted using a mixed-methods approach. In the qualitative part, the meta-synthesis method was used to identify the characteristics of springboarding and gradual internationalization. To conduct the meta-synthesis in this research, Sandelowski and Barroso’s seven-step method (2007) was used. In this research, the criteria for the inclusion of articles included: (1) all studies published in English and Persian, (2) published research from 2000 to 2025, (3) papers published in prestigious scientific databases, and (4) research using qualitative and mixed methods. For this purpose, studies conducted in the field of springboarding or incremental internationalization were collected from reputable databases during the years 2000–2025, and 31 articles were reviewed for final analysis. In the quantitative part, the BWM method was used to prioritize the characteristics of springboarding or incremental internationalization. The participants in the quantitative part were 10 senior managers of pharmaceutical companies in the country, who were selected using a purposive non-probability sampling method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire.
Findings: The results of the first phase of the research showed that incremental internationalization features include three main categories: the company’s internal capabilities (gradual learning, gradual innovation, and low dependency on internationalization), the company’s life cycle (low speed, slow-paced growth, and conservative strategies), and the external capabilities of the company (local networking and responsiveness to the environment). The springboarding internationalization features include three main categories: the firm’s internal capabilities (radical innovation, active learning capacity, and senior management readiness), the life cycle of firms (high speed and aggressive export strategies), and the external competencies of the company (international networking capability and an active response to the international environment). Based on the results of the BWM method, the sum of final weights indicates that the incremental approach, with an average criterion weight of 0.108, is more important than springboarding, with an average criterion weight of 0.019. This indicates that the experts have evaluated the criteria for gradual movement in the pharmaceutical industry as a key factor for business success. Incremental internationalization is characterized by three main dimensions: internal firm capabilities (gradual learning, incremental innovation, and low dependence on internationalization), the internationalization life cycle (slow speed, stepwise growth, and conservative export strategies), and external firm capabilities (local networking and reactive adaptation to the environment). In contrast, rapid internationalization is associated with internal capabilities (radical innovation, active learning capacity, and international readiness of top management), the life cycle (high speed and aggressive export strategies), and external capabilities (international networking and proactive responses to the global environment).
Discussion and Conclusion: The results showed that although both springboarding and incremental approaches are important in the pharmaceutical industry of the country, the incremental approach is more important. This finding is consistent with the Uppsala theory and the classical models that emphasize gradual learning, experience accumulation, and risk reduction in foreign markets. This suggests that, due to regulatory constraints, production complexities, and market risks, Iranian pharmaceutical companies are more inclined to pursue internationalization through gradual, stepwise processes. These insights provide valuable implications for policymakers and managers in designing appropriate strategies to enhance the global competitiveness of the pharmaceutical industry and to support broader economic and social development. One of the proposals is to develop a roadmap for international entry; even if the selection of a rapid approach is necessary, registration, legal compliance, and marketing procedures are still required. Strengthening R&D in compliance with international standards and investing in R&D for designing products that comply with the needs and regulations of target markets are also important. Another proposal is the formation of a pharmaceutical exporting consortium, enabling a number of domestic companies to enter foreign markets at the same time by using joint capacities. Many Iranian pharmaceutical companies are better able to start with incremental reforms (especially in regional markets such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central Asia), and after reinforcing quality and brand, move faster and faster.

Introduction and Purpose: Strategic alliances have become an increasingly important mechanism for strengthening the competitive position of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in knowledge-intensive and technologically complex industries. Through strategic alliances, firms can gain access to complementary resources, knowledge, technologies, capabilities, and markets while sharing risks and costs. These advantages are particularly important in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, where technological complexity, substantial resource requirements, and environmental uncertainty make interorganizational collaboration increasingly important. However, establishing a strategic alliance does not necessarily guarantee successful new product development. The value generated through alliances depends on how effectively firms acquire, integrate, share, and apply knowledge and transform external resources into innovation and new products. Exploration and exploitation represent two complementary mechanisms through which organizations develop and utilize knowledge and capabilities, while innovation may provide an important mechanism for transforming these capabilities into new product development outcomes. Knowledge sharing may also influence these relationships by facilitating the transfer and integration of knowledge among alliance partners. Accordingly, the main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of strategic alliances on new product development among small and medium-sized manufacturers and suppliers in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, with particular emphasis on the mediating role of innovation. The study also examines the mediating roles of exploration and exploitation, the sequential mediating role of exploration and innovation, and the moderating role of knowledge sharing. Accordingly, the main research question is: How do strategic alliances affect new product development among small and medium-sized manufacturers and suppliers in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and what roles do innovation, exploration, exploitation, and knowledge sharing play in this relationship?
Methodology: This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive, non-experimental, and field-based in terms of research design. A survey approach was adopted to investigate the proposed relationships among strategic alliances, exploration, exploitation, innovation, knowledge sharing, and new product development. The statistical population consisted of 350 small and medium-sized manufacturers and suppliers operating in Iran's oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Given the size and dispersion of the population and the practical difficulty of obtaining direct access to all senior managers, cluster accessible random sampling was employed. The sample size was determined using Cochran's formula, resulting in 183 companies. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire consisting of three demographic questions and 68 substantive items, measured on a five-point Likert scale. The measurement indicators were adapted from established scales in the relevant literature. Content validity was assessed through expert judgment, while construct validity and reliability were examined using confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, composite reliability, average variance extracted (AVE), and the Fornell–Larcker criterion. The adequacy of the measurement model was supported by acceptable factor loadings, reliability coefficients, and convergent validity indicators. The KMO statistic was 0.844, and Bartlett's test was significant. Data analysis was conducted using Excel 2016, SPSS 25, and SmartPLS 4. Because the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test indicated that the data were not normally distributed, Spearman correlation coefficients were employed to examine bivariate relationships. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to evaluate the structural model and test the hypotheses. The significance of the structural relationships was assessed using t-values and p-values, while mediation effects were additionally examined using the Sobel test.
Findings: The findings confirmed the adequacy of the measurement model, with acceptable reliability and convergent validity across all constructs. The main hypothesis was supported, indicating that strategic alliances significantly affect new product development through innovation (β = 0.165, p = 0.028), with the Sobel test confirming the mediating role of innovation. Strategic alliances also significantly affected exploration, exploitation, and innovation, while exploitation and innovation positively affected new product development. Exploration significantly affected innovation and new product development, and its indirect effect on new product development through innovation was also supported. However, the direct effect of strategic alliances on new product development and the proposed mediation effects of exploration and exploitation were not supported. Knowledge sharing significantly moderated only the relationship between strategic alliances and exploration. Overall, the main hypothesis and nine of the twenty sub-hypotheses were supported. The model explained 23.9% of the variance in innovation and 52.4% of the variance in new product development.
Discussion and Conclusion: The findings demonstrate that strategic alliances do not automatically lead to successful new product development; rather, their effectiveness depends on the organizational capabilities that transform external resources and knowledge into innovation. The significant mediating role of innovation indicates that innovation is a key mechanism through which strategic alliances contribute to new product development. The results also highlight the complementary but differentiated roles of exploration and exploitation, suggesting that firms need to balance the development of new knowledge with the effective utilization of existing capabilities. The limited moderating role of knowledge sharing further suggests that simply sharing knowledge is not sufficient to enhance organizational outcomes; rather, the quality, usability, and effective integration of shared knowledge are also important. Theoretically, the study contributes by integrating strategic alliances, exploration, exploitation, innovation, and knowledge sharing within a unified framework of new product development. From a managerial perspective, firms should focus on purposeful alliance management, strengthening innovation and learning capabilities, improving knowledge management practices, and developing exploration and exploitation capabilities. Overall, the study emphasizes that the value of strategic alliances lies not merely in establishing collaborative relationships, but in the organizational capabilities that enable firms to convert collaborative resources and knowledge into innovation and new products.
