Investigating the Relation between Culture, Approach and Organiza-tional Behavior in Faculty Members of University (A Case Study: Shahid Bahonar University, Kerman)

Abstract

This study investigates the relation between culture, approach and or-ganizational behavior of faculty members. A descriptive survey me-thod and an open and closed questionnaire as the instrument were used to study the types of relation between the variables. Statistical population of this study was 393 of all full time faculty members of Shahid Bahonar university of Kerman in the year of 1385, 205 of them were selected as sample volume based on basic study and using class sampling.The results show acceptable level of organizational attitudes (job sa-tisfaction, organizational commitment) and organizational behavior (organizational allegiance and tendency to exit). Based on attained re-sults, all the assumptions except sub-assumption 4.1 were located in position of 5% error. In other words, there were not meaningful rela-tion in 5% error level only between organizational commitment and behavior of tendency to exit. The relationship between type of organi-zational culture and variables of organizational attitude, and also the relationship between type of organizational culture and variables of organizational behavior has been strong and approved.
