In recent years, behavioral finance has been an important issue among scholars in the field of finance and behavior science. Consequently, rumors and their effects on the behaviors of investors is a new subject which is being studied by researchers in some academic centers. Here, we have tried to study different aspects of rumors and their probable effects on decision making of investors. We categorized the answers on the basis of gender, academic degrees, work type and work expe-rience of respondents to find out the important variables of their deci-sion making process.
