Identification Of IRANâs National Petrochemical Company Approach In Competitiveness Through Structural Equation Model And Analytical Hierarchy Process
Nowadays, one of the biggest problems of corporations is the lack of competitiveness. Thus, in this paper, we’re going to design a model for measuring corporate competitiveness. For designing this model, firstly literature of this field was reviewed and different theories, models, frameworks and approaches related to competitiveness at national and corporate levels were studied. According to this literature review, the main approaches to corporate competitiveness used in the proposed model are systematic, resource based, market based, and asset-process-performance approach. With respect to these approaches, the proposed model has three components: corporate resource, position of corporate in the market, and the ability of creation and innovation. This model was confirmed through factor analysis, structural equation model and Bayesian network. As a result of this research, it was shown that INPC competitive ability is mostly based on the corporate resource. It suggests that INPC must shift to a mixture of corporate resource and ability of creation and innovation approach.
