A model for Analyzing the Relation between Creativity and Job Charac-teristics

Abstract

This research Studies the relation between Job characteristics and creativity. To achieve this goal, after studying the creativity literature in organizations, we presented a conceptual model based on the mentioned literature which contained five variables: creativity, complexity, autonomy, feedback, and job identity. On the basis of the research's conceptual model, the questionnaire measuring the variables was composed. The questionnaire was distributed among the sample, completed by them and then the data was gathered. With the help of software named LISREL8.5, the obtained data was analyzed according to the research hypothesis. The results showed that job identity directly, and complexity, feedback and autonomy both directly & indirectly affect creativity.
