Nowadays, outsourcing of the organizational activities is fallowed by many of the organizations to preserve their competitive advantages in the international market and also to reduce the investment risks. Most of the famous firms in the world have outsourced parts of their activities on the basis of competitive advantages.Outsourcing is a strategic action, just if it aligns with the organiza-tional long term strategies. On the other words, defining the outsourc-ing opportunities and then, selecting the method and framework of outsourcing will be connected to the organization strategies with a tool which is known as "strategic outsourcing".In this paper, we try to introduce this strategic outsourcing, define its possible methods, and finally, present a methodology for strategic outsourcing in value chain of the organizations.
