The effects of leadership is so decisive and important that it leaves no room to think about other reasons and factors of success or failure in mind therefore in most researches, leadership style is considered as one of the determinant factors of success. This research intends to investigate the relation between leadership style and success of Iranian female coaches which is a new and novel research subject. In this research, the relation between leadership style of female coaches and their success in the level of premier league and first division league of Iranian clubs in team sports i.e. volleyball, futsal, handball and basketball are investigated. After collecting research data and analyzing them by SPSS15, it was determined that there are significant relations between argumentative-encouraging and participatory leadership styles and success of female coaches in the country. On the other hand, there is no correlation between instructional and entrusting leadership styles with success of female coaches in the country. Analyzing the results, it was found that the main or prevailing style among 70 percent of female coaches of the country was participatory style.
